Mother- Father- God,
We know that you are ever present in times of trouble. In this Christmas season, many of our congregants are faced with multiple challenges in their lives: obstacles, feelings of isolation and loneliness, losing loved ones, physical decline, financial hardship & health concerns. Let us remember that you are always in our midst. Let us also remember that good, too, is ever present, manifesting as joy. Let us allow the goodness that we seek to envelop us like a warm coat on a cold winter’s day. We acknowledge that we are one with love and the peace of all that is. We move through these sad feelings, honoring them, but not dwelling on them, instead choosing to focus on gratitude for all of our many blessings.
With a grateful heart, we say
Thank you, God.
And so it is…
Amen
